Project Overview

As part of a major commercial property refurbishment for the Tesla Dealership at 3 County Oak Way in Crawley, The Jet Wash Fella was contracted to overhaul a 50-bay block-paved car park.

The primary challenge of this project was site reconfiguration: to accommodate modern Tesla electric vehicles, the dealership needed to widen the existing parking bays. Our task was to deep clean the entire paved surface, eliminate years of heavy weed growth, remove all original white parking lines to allow line painters to lay out the new widened spec, and re-sand the entire block-paved area.

Technical Approach & Key Execution Steps

• High-Pressure Turbo Washing & Weed Extraction:Using commercial high-pressure jet washers equipped with heavy-duty turbo nozzles, our three-man team blasted away decades of ground-in traffic film, oil residues, and deep-rooted weeds between the block paving joints.
• Line Marking Removal for Tesla Layout:Selectively stripped existing white parking bay lines across all 50 bays, clean-surface prepping the pavement so line painters could accurately measure and apply the new wider Tesla vehicle layout.
• Complete Site Debris Clearance:A major car park wash generates significant sludge, lifted moss, and old jointing sand. We thoroughly collected and legally removed all waste from the site to ensure clean, safe surfaces for the next trades.
• Kiln-Dried Joint Re-Sanding:After allowing the block paving time to thoroughly dry, we swept fresh kiln-dried sand across the entire 50-bay area, completely refilling the block joints to lock the paving in place and restore structural integrity.
